We've all heard the stories about how recruiters and scouts sometimes "stumble" upon a great young baseball talent - or don't find them at all. Among the players who were walk-ons for their college teams were Ozzie Smith (at Cal Poly), Ryan Howard (at Missouri State), and Brett Gardner (at College of Charleston). Some of the better known MLB stars who were undrafted were the late Hall of Famer Bruce Sutter, Bobby Bonilla, and even Phillies legend Larry Bowa.
But more often than not, if you have aspirations of playing beyond high school, and perhaps using your baseball skills to get into college, you have to find the recruiters. And that's why we created EL1 Tournaments Showcases.
The Showcases brings together some of the top 16-18 year olds in the region for top competition in front of a minimum of 8 college baseball coaches or scouts. Our goal is to help you make the connections to find the right opportunity in the right program. All games will be played on one site and coaches will see every pitch thrown at the event.
